Data Analyst

You’ll be exposed to a broad scope of processes within Kiwi, so we’re looking for a person who doesn’t stop at creating top-notch dashboards and delivering major business insights, but is also interested in interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders to push projects with the opportunity to showcase other technical skills like process optimization, machine learning, or product integration.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the requirements behind business drives, and delivering related solutions that can range from data specifications, metrics/KPI’s definitions, to dashboards/data products required to monitor the state of such business drives.
  • Building case studies and what-if analyses to evaluate the impact of new developments, business processes, and/or pricing changes relevant to the Booking Fulfilment tribe.
  • Creating meaningful self-service dashboards independently, being able to communicate your findings to any stakeholder in the organization, from customer-facing agents to C-suite.
  • Delivering ad-hoc reports and communicating insights directly.
  • Finding potential opportunities and risks, proposing the proper tactical adjustment to benefit from/mitigate them.
  • Close cooperation with other Analytics and Data teams (especially Data Engineers and Data Quality teams) in order to make sure that the Booking Fulfilment analytics are valid and in sync with Kiwi’s general guidelines and efforts on Data.
  • Constantly drive improvements and cost optimizations, both in the data domain and other related domains for which the Analytics team gives support.
  • Acting as a stand-in for the Team Lead when needed.
  • Technical/Professional Qualification:

  • 5+ years of experience in the area of Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Operations Research, Machine Learning or other relevant work experience and knowledge.
  • Top-notch SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization and modeling: Looker preferred, but other self-service BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik, GoodData, etc.) or custom solutions (e.g, Pandas+Seaborne, D3.js, etc) are also acceptable.
  • Scripting skills: You’re not expected to do developer work, but working experience with Python/Ruby/R is a good asset.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods (correlations, regressions, simulations, clustering, cohort analysis, simulations, etc).
  • Knowledge of industry standards (Version controlling, Agile, SDLC, ETL/ELT’s, DWH modelling, BPMN, Documentation, etc).
  • Great analytical skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
