Data Analytics Team Lead
Data Analytics Team Lead translates data into insights and supports data-driven decisions in order to help the organization reach it’s targets. Helps identifying missed and new opportunities, supports decision-making process, establishes best practices in the way data is used in his department. Data Analytics Team Lead achieves this through his/her team that he/she supports and develops in all aspects – skills, relationships, citizenship.
- Create and develop a team of high performing Data Analysts.
- Define, communicate and support the team’s vision and mission, aligned with company goals.
- Support data driven decisions in the respective department.
- Lead cross-department and cross-functional projects.
- Cultivate culture of innovation in the analytics area.
- Ensure and proactively maintain psychological safety within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business economics, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
- Experience in business intelligence or data analytics, analysing data through statistical, quantitative modeling/forecasting methods.
- Expert SQL knowledge, experience with data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI…).
- Track record of leading data projects.
- Experience with people management – leading team of data analysts or similar role is a big plus.
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers at all levels.
- Stakeholder management and prioritisation skills.
- Clear and concise communication, ability to simplify the complex and help all stakeholders understand important information.
- Ability to define vision and mission for a team and then follow up on it.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing and evolving environment. Comfortable with ambiguity.
