Financial Data/Analytics Engineer
We are Kiwi.com’s Financial Data Intelligence team based in Brno. We are looking for a new colleague who will help us develop and automate high-quality fin-tech solutions to enable data-driven business decisions. You will never get bored with us: you will be the architect leading, designing, and implementing various projects.
- designing, developing, and maintenance of new fin-tech solutions for business processes automation
- connecting internal and external data sources and enabling data-driven business decisions (sales forecasting, discovering money leaks, …)
- building a system that will support all financial operations in Kiwi.com and help get the company to IPO
- providing transparency and auditability of the automated financial system
- leading some of our projects, from translating business requirements into a design doc, to splitting the project into specific tasks, actual implementation, review of code quality, and delivery to our stakeholders
- If you see some inefficient or “not-so-nice” code, you immediately want to improve it.
- You don’t let annoying things bother you forever, you actively drive improvements.
- You like digging in data and getting to the root cause and a deep understanding of problems.
- You are excited about using new technologies and tools, and broadening your knowledge in new domains (accounting, data science, …).
- You have good Python and SQL skills, as well as knowledge of development best practices.
