Junior Account Manager

Junior Account Manager is primarily responsible for support in onboarding and control of the performance of existing partners of Tier 2 and 3 category facilitated within Tequila platform. You will provide assistance on projects and tasks assigned by Head of Account Management and senior colleagues, day-on-day evaluation of partner performance and creation of improvement plans to help fulfilment on the level of company sales and profitability targets.

    Job responsibilities:

  • Assistance with new partners onboarding of Tier 2 and Tier 3 partners.
  • Coordination of internal and external efforts to implement new partners in order to release them in production. Facilitation of communication between all engaged parties, following the internal procedures and checklists.
  • Control of technical progress, set up operational(with Front/Back Office Team) and financial (reporting, invoicing cycle) processes with the new partners, their maintenance and continuous optimisation of performance.
  • Provision of account management services to the defined portfolio of partners, such as analysis, reports and biweekly communication to retain and improve cooperation.
  • Participation in projects defined by Business Development or Account Management teams.
  • Preparation of weekly reports to Head of Account Management on progress and issues encountered.
  • Support of the Head of Account Management in moving forward projects and enhancement of internal processes.
  • Update of all business activities in internal materials and tools (CRM, reporting tools, pipeline tools…) in order to ensure better alignment within the team.
  • We are looking for you if you:

  • Have minimum 1 year of proven experience within Account Management, Network Management (preferably within travel or supporting IT industries)
  • Have an ability to build new and enhance existing relationships with our business partners
  • Have general project management knowledge and capability of handling multiple partner related projects
  • Have basic knowledge of commercial contract formation
  • Have uncovering needs and potential for improvement
  • Have data analysis skills (capability of reading, interpreting and manipulating the data)
  • Have high level of understanding of the travel products capabilities and limitations
  • Have broad and up-to-date understanding of the travel industry and trends
  • Have profound knowledge of the global travel industry
  • Have ability to work under pressure and to deliver within the deadlines defined
  • Have good analytical skills and understanding of business needs
  • Have an ability to optimise and think outside of the box
  • Have good communication skills, including assertiveness, negotiation skills and you are a team player
  • Have an ability to handle the coordination of detailed processes cross-departmental and cross-company
  • Have education in economics or marketing or commercial segment, it is advantageous
  • Are naturally curious and want to know how everything works and like to explore new things and solutions
  • Are open-minded, you chase for constructive feedback in order to improve yourself
  • Your English is at an advanced spoken and written level + any other world language is an advantage
