Senior Business/Data Analyst

We in FinTech are responsible for the whole payments journey of customers and are working towards them being able to pay whenever they want with every possible method there is. Part of FinTech is also payments from us to airlines, where we are trying to optimize our portfolio of methods and where to book tickets. The last part of FinTech is Fraud & Risk, who is responsible for making sure customer payments are legitimate. You’ll be a Senior Product Analyst within the FinTech Tribe combining the world of data with product development and business. You’ll be deciding which data to track, metrics to measure, looking for insights and interpreting them to the team and the business. The specificity of the position lies in a deep understanding of transactional flow, which we will provide and you will be able to acquire deep knowledge of the whole payment and e-commerce world. You will have to fully understand how a change in your area will impact the entire company and to be able to anticipate risks & opportunities.

    What will you do?

  • Define, report, and own product KPIs and metrics.
  • Be the pivotal person to propose and drive changes or decisions in the whole company.
  • Architect and design our features tracking together with Product, BI, and Engineering teams.
  • Building meaningful and appealing self-service dashboards in Looker.
  • Generate the analytical insights geared towards Product improvement.
  • Track the performance of the Product over time and interpret the changes.
  • Track and report on newly released features.
  • Control the quality of the data in cooperation with the Business Intelligence team. 
  • Produce analyses of historical data to suggest & support decision making.
  • Present findings, answer specific business questions or improve the product. 
  • Collaborate with other analysts to ensure a holistic view of things.
  • Work in close cooperation with Product Managers/Designers.
  • What do we expect?

  • Advanced SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with some data visualization tools (like GoodData, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Common Statistical methods knowledge and modeling experience (regression, classification, resampling, Markov models, etc.).
  • Ability to understand business activities with a view broader than just the finance or payments function.
  • Proficient with various data sources and manipulating large datasets.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and innovative approaches to solving problems.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate complex results to less quantitatively sophisticated users.
  • Help with building a strong data oriented family within the company.
