Senior Software Engineer – Autobooking Tribe

With travel business returning to normal, our team is dealing with even greater volumes of data to process & automate. Your mission is to deal with this processing problem by building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software. You will be working on one of the most crucial parts of the Kiwi.com technical stack.

    Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Resolve problems within order processing (explore cutting-edge solutions).
  • Design architecture and lead implementation for large-scope projects.
  • Work in a team of 5 engineers to drive and deliver common initiatives.
  • Push technical excellence and clean code within the team.
  • Must have (s):

  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (at least 1 year with Python).
  • Experience writing full-scale projects (with a track record, ideally in Python).
  • Deep knowledge of software design patterns, SQL and no-SQL databases, debugging and monitoring, containerization, testing, git, CI/CD, networking.
  • Experience with deployments with any cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, …).
  • Professional level of written and spoken English.
  • Good to have (s):

  • Experience with web scraping.
  • A university degree from an IT field.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
